Wish

free-hand stitching on recycled linen

After 13 years of wishing, it's finally coming true.  A new kitchen!

This weekend the demolition of the old kitchen began.  The house is a mess.  The dust is horrendous and I feel like I need the asthma inhaler that I haven't needed for 15 years.  But I will gladly deal with it all.

Wishes aren't granted by some magical genie floating out from a bottle.  They come true with hard work.  And a lot of patience.
