There has been snow, dinner with beautiful friends, no phone or internet for days (joys of country life), a cat discovering the window bird feeder, the arrival of brutally freezing temperatures, a sick husband, sewing, drawing, thinking and planning, reading, baking.....
To all who left such lovely comments for my owl, thank you so very much.
Sounds lovely, well except the sick husband :( Hope he feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteWe are in the midst of brutally cold temperatures....so cold.
sweet hibernation.
ReplyDeletelaughing at the intense concentration on the cat's face lol
I love winter and everything it holds. The photo is lovely and peaceful. Stay warm and dry!!
ReplyDeleteThat photo speaks a thousand words. :)
ReplyDeleteAs you know, I love the snow. I hope that you are getting out and playing in it! May you and the cat enjoy watching the birds. We have had an unusual amount of nuthatches this year, its been a treat :). xo
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure who enjoys the birds more, the cat or I. we haven't had nuthatches to the window feeder, but there are a few that come to the suet. we just put the feeder out a few weeks ago, and right now most of the visitors are the black-capped chickadee and tufted titmouse.
Deletelove the cat watch. love the "bird?" feeder.
ReplyDeleteIt does all sound rather wonderful. That view from your window is beautiful. I could look out at it for years. There is something incredibly peaceful and grounding about trees in snow. I hope that your husband is soon feeling better.
ReplyDeleteCutest ever!!! I think my cat would like that too, especially since he can't go outside :(. Wishing you wellness for your husband soon!!!
